To honor Nelson Mandela's Centenary, JWP worked with the Mandela family to celebrate his legacy through a number of initiatives, projects, and events.  

To commemorate his release from incarceration, we held a conversation between Kweku Mandela and Charlize Theron moderated by Soledad O'Brien and hosted by Chelsea Handler. The beneficiaries of this fundraiser include The Geffen Playhouse, House of Mandela Family Foundation, and Charlize Theron’s Africa Outreach Project.

We wrapped up the year with celebrations in December to commemorate Nelson Mandela's 100th birthday at his home in South Africa. Celebrities and dignitaries from all over the world attended the Forever Young Ball & Gala Dinner, hosted by Enhle Maphumulo’s Enhle Cares Foundation, House of Mandela, Africa Rising Foundation.
